Ingredients
- 1 pound ground turkey
- 1 pound ground Italian sausage
- 1.5 TBSP EVOO/avocado oil
- 3/4 yellow onion - chopped
- 4 cloves garlic - minced
- 1.5 tsp onion powder
- 1.5 tsp garlic powder
- 1.5 tsp fine sea salt
- 3/4 tsp black pepper
- 1.5 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1.5 bags Edamame spaghetti
- 40 oz spaghetti sauce - we prefer Rao's Marinara
Instructions
- Begin to bring water to a boil in a large stockpot. Salt generously once the water is boiling. Cook per instructions on the package while you are cooking the sauce.
- Heat oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Once hot, add onion and sautè for 3-4 minutes, until onions begin to soften.
- Add garlic and stir for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add in ground meat, Italian sausage and seasonings and cook until no pink remains, about 5-7 minutes. Drain grease at this point if you need to.
- Add in marinara or spaghetti sauce. Reduce heat to a simmer for 5 minutes. Taste and adjust seasoning as desired.
- Pair with a side salad and enjoy!
