Dr. Lindsey Propst

Professional  –  Dr. Lindsey Propst (formerly Lindsey Katt) earned her B.S. in Kinesiology (Applied Exercise Science) from Texas A&M University in 2009.  She then earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy (DPT) from Texas State University in 2012 where she graduated at the top of her class.

During her time as a doctoral candidate at Texas State, Lindsey worked as the graduate instructor for undergraduate Anatomy lab. Lindsey also acted as a research assistant on several research projects investigating concussion identification, testing, consequences and recovery. Lindsey had the opportunity to present these findings at the Federal Interagency Conference on Traumatic Brain Injury in Washington, DC and the Texas Physical Therapy Association Combined Sections Meeting in San Antonio, TX.

Since graduating with her DPT in 2012, Lindsey worked at Baylor Scott & White Outpatient therapy clinics where she managed patient care, administrative tasks for her office, and the development of the pediatric program. After developing this program and working with these kiddos she relished the opportunity to become the full-time Physical Therapist for College Station ISD in 2019. In her time with CSISD she seamlessly navigated the transition between traditional on-site care in Fall 2019 to all virtual care in Spring 2020 to the multi-faceted approach of all virtual, in-home, on-site, and sometimes a blend of all care models in 2020-2021. Lindsey has accomplished post-doctoral certifications and training in:

LSVT BIG

Manual Therapy

Pediatric Gait Analysis

Crisis Prevention Institute Trainer

Sportsmetrics ACL Injury Prevention Level 1

Personal – Lindsey was born in Houston, TX and raised in College Station, TX since age 4. She participated in softball, gymnastics, dance, cheer, and golf.

When Lindsey was 14, her late cousin, Zachary, was born with profound Cerebral Palsy. She assisted her aunt in his care and attended his physical therapy sessions and doctor’s appointments. This inspired her to become a physical therapist and sparked her passion for working with children.

Lindsey takes her athletic background, the emotional aspect of her personal experiences, the flexibility of working in several  settings across different platforms to offer an unparalleled patient care experience that is science-driven, yet creative and bold to push kiddos and their parents to goals they may never have thought possible.

True Story: Greg wants to be like Lindsey when he grows up.

Lindsey met her handsome and only slightly less incredibly gifted husband, Greg, at A&M, just before Physical Therapy school in 2009. There is debate amongst the experts as to just how soon they were attached at the hip, but being the better half and having sharper recall of details, Lindsey wins this discussion. Lindsey and Greg attended PT school together were married in 2012. They moved back to College Station after graduation in 2012 and have expanded their family with 3 fabulously adventurous, radiant little girls.
