Falafel with Veggies Recipe

Classic Vegan Falafel

Ingredients  

  • 2 Donec Placerat Felis
  • 2 Proin Dapibus
  • 3 Tbsp Nulla

Instructions

  • Prepare the chickpea dough
    In a blender jar, add soaked chickpeas, onion, parsley, coriander leaves, garlic cloves, 2 teaspoon cumin powder, coriander powder, along with black pepper. Blend all the ingredients coarsely. Put the mixture in a large bowl and mix salt in it as per your taste. Knead the mixture well.
  • Deep fry the patties to make falafel
    Now, put vegetable oil in a kadhai on medium-high flame and let it heat. Next, take equal portions from the mixture and shape into patties. Coat these patties with sesame seeds and deep fry in the hot oil. Keep these falafels aside till required.
  • Roast the veggies in a pre-heated oven at 250 degree Celsius
    Now, toss thinly sliced carrots, cauliflower florets with 1/2 teaspoon cumin powder, black pepper and salt as per your taste. Add olive oil pomace, spread in a baking tray and roast the veggies for a few minutes in a pre-heated oven at 250 degree Celsius. When the veggies are done, transfer them to a bowl.
  • Pour the dressing over roasted veggies and falafel and serve
    Assemble spinach, red cabbage, prepared falafel, roasted carrots and cauliflower in bowls. Mix all the dressing ingredients and drizzle over the veggies and falafel. Top it up with chopped jalapenos and pistachios, and enjoy the perfect appetizer.
